This is the newest version of our MAGNUM ADJUSTER for 22XX. It's made of 6061-T6 aluminum anodized black and 360 brass. It has a locking collar and tick marks on the back of the knob to help gauge and maintain adjustments. The hammer spring can be removed by backing the adjuster knob all the way out. The adjustment range is wide enough to produce maximum power, maximum shot count or any level of performance in between. It works with all of the hammer springs we have listed. It fits 1740, 2240, 2250, 2300T, 2300S, 2300KT and 2400KT and most variants of those models like 2240XL, 2260 MB, etc.

It allows you to get more power when you need it or more shots when power is not critical. At 70 degrees F adjusted to the minimum power level where it will shoot consistently and reliably it produces about 175 shots from a 12 gram CO2 cartridge, at full-power about 25 shots if it's adjusted correctly. Anything less than 20-25 shots per cartridge and it's either too cold out or the adjuster is set too strong and wasting a lot of CO2 without producing more power. Minimum power is generally 250-350 FPS depending on barrel length, maximum power is generally 525-650 FPS with longer barrels producing the higher numbers. In hot temps even more power can be produced because CO2 increases in pressure as it gets hotter. Using more striker spring tension reduces shot count but produces more power up to a certain point. Too much tension can waste CO2 without producing extra power. This adjuster can be used to help balance performance due to temperature changes.
