MAGNUM RIFLE ADJUSTER for Discovery, Maximus & 2260

This rifle version of our power adjuster includes a shorter 8-32 x 3/8" trigger frame screw to avoid damaging the threads on the adjuster knob. That screw is too long for pistols and carbine versions that use a pistol trigger frame. If using a pistol trigger frame the correct screw size for the rear position is 8-32 x 5/16".

This is a compact version of the MAGNUM ADJUSTER for Benjamin Discovery, Maximus, Crosman 1760, 2260, 2260SE and Sheridan 2260 MB. It's made of 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized black with a 360 brass guide screw. It requires a 3/16" hex wrench or bit (not included) to adjust it. The adjustment range is wide enough to produce maximum power, maximum shot count or the precise level of performance you want anywhere in between. You can change the hammer spring by backing the adjustment knob all the way out.

It allows you to comfortably wrap your thumb around the stock if you prefer to shoot that way.  For those who shoot holding the bolt down with your thumb you can also use the full-size versions we have listed with an adjustment knob and locking collar.

It holds it's position well, the fine threads keep it from creeping. The purpose of the locking collar on the full-size version is to keep the knob from turning if you bump or rub against it.

Discovery models can safely operate at a higher PSI if you upgrade the valve mounting screws. We have upgrade screw kits listed for that purpose as well as other parts for increased comfort, power and accuracy.
